What You'll Experience

Welcome & Centering

Begin with grounding exercises and emotional check-ins to create a safe, present space for

learning. Set group agreements for confidentiality and mutual respect.

Understanding Mindfulness

Explore mindfulness as "awareness of the present moment, without judgment" and discover

how it creates space to respond rather than react in relationships and communication.

Tool 1: Above & Below the Line

Build self-awareness of your mindset and energetic state:

  • Above the Line: Conscious choice, responsibility, higher self

  • Below the Line: Unconscious reactions, victim/blame patterns, ego responses

Practice identifying what shifts you above the line and how to catch yourself in reactive moments.

Tool 2: The Dreaded Drama Triangle

Recognize communication patterns that block authentic connection:

  • Victim: "This is happening to me"

  • Persecutor: "It's your fault"

  • Rescuer: "Let me fix this for you"

Learn to shift into the Empowerment Triangle roles of Creator, Challenger, and Coach through

a four-step mindset process:

  1. How do I feel?

  2. How do I want to feel?

  3. What is my limiting belief?

  4. What is my new mindset?

Guided Mindfulness Practice

Experience a meditation focused on "noticing without reacting" - developing awareness of

breath, body sensations, and internal dialogue without getting caught in reactive patterns.

Tool 3: The Four Agreements

Integrate principles for conscious, value-driven communication:

  1. Be impeccable with your word

  2. Don't take anything personally

  3. Don't make assumptions

  4. Always do your best

Explore which agreement challenges you most and how mindfulness supports living these principles.

Integration Practice: Conscious Conversation

Apply all tools to real-life scenarios through reflection or partner exercises. Examine recent

reactive conversations and reimagine them through a mindful, conscious lens.

Commitment & Integration

Leave with concrete practices and personal commitments for bringing mindfulness into your

daily relationships and communications.

What You'll Receive

  • Above/Below the Line diagram

  • Drama Triangle & Empowerment Triangle visual guides

  • Summary of the Four Agreements

  • Journal prompts for continued practice

  • Practical tools for immediate implementation
